The Cleveland Ensemble
This group, unique in the concert field, presents flute, violin, viola, cello, and piano in various combinations in the music from the lesser known as well as the familiar chamber literature.
Now in its sixth season, the Ensemble has had wide appeal to Clevelanders. They have played a season of concerts for the Chamber and the Cleveland Public Library Series, and given numerous college and club programs.
Kurt Loebel, violin and William Kurzban, piano both well known in Cleveland music circles, are members of the Ensemble. Others are Harry Golland, flute, Muriel Carmen, viola; and Bonita Potts, cello. All are faculty members of the Cleveland Institute of Music except Mr. Golland who maintains a private studio. Miss Carmen and Mr. Loebel are also with the Cleveland Orchestra.
