Academics:

Our curriculum focuses on building a solid educational foundation while fostering a lifelong love of learning. This ia accomplished by teaching children the essential skills and knowledge they need to be academically successful and pursue their personal goals and dreams.

Classroom instruction includes hands-on experiences, cooperative learning and problem solving. Children learn to share ideas, work together and stick with a problem until it is solved.

Students receive excellent instruction in basic skills including mathematics, reading, writing and science. Lakewood Schools also provide enriching programs in fine arts, advanced sciences, sports, foreign language, journalism, community service and more.
