Welcome to another exciting year at McKinley Elementary School. The McKinley PTA is one of the most productive and involved organizations in the city. PTA is the vital link between home and school. We endeavor to provide our parents, teachers and administrators with all the support needed to meet your children's educational goals.

Each year, McKinley PTA plans; coordinates and staffs the entire year with social activities, functions and informative meetings designed to benefit our children. In recent years, we have arranged for a variety of pertinent guest speakers, a Sock Hop, Book Fairs, art classes at the Beck Center and classroom parties, just to name a few. Your contribution(s) have also allowed us to provide parental assistance in the classrooms, nutritious snacks during "testing" week as well as bring you the Ice Cream Socials or Morning Coffees.

Raising money is very important, as well. Our most notable fund-raisers have included candy and gift sales, Market Day, and Campbell Soup and Box Tops for Education collections. The money raised is used for the events mentioned, but more importantly for purchasing much needed supplies for our school.

Our yearly goal is to have every McKinley family become a member of PTA. Donating your skills, talents, time or money can only benefit your child's grade school experience.
