Crocker Park

     Crocker Park, Westlake, near Trader Joe's.
     Time: Saturdays, 9 am to 1 pm
     Dates: April 18 - November 21, 2009
     In a state-of-the-art "lifestyle center," this market is humming and filled to capacity. A gently cirved walkway guides you past farms from nine counties. It's become a place for locals to "meet and greet," from the mayor to little girls just out of dance class. A constant refrain is "at last the West Side has equity with the East Side!"
