Over 12,000 Assembly of God churches reside throughout the United States. Nationally, the church is the largest Pentecostal church in the world today. The Assemblies of God Church now have missionaries in over 120 nations. These 2,691 missionaries serve within national churches and ministries which have 21,593,375 members and adherents. Doctrinally, the Assemblies of God are evangelical including an emphasis on the person and work of the Holy Spirit in the world today. Services will typically include a time of fellowship, singing, Bible preaching and prayer with various optional programs and ministry for children. The service styles will vary between traditional and contemporary from church to church in different communities.

West Shore Church is a church where families can come and find a great place to connect with others, learn about God and be challenged in their lives. We are relaxed in attitude and attire and have great contemporary music. We have a great children's church program that is lots of fun with great music and activities. We also have a clean, fun nursery for the younger ones. All volunteers in the nursery and children's church have background checks done before working with children. Teens and adults can find topics relevent to their lives as we look to see what God wants to say to this generation. A broad range of topics will be covered in the Sunday morning service from "healthy relationships" to "embracing social justice"; from "breaking free from addictions" to "how to hear God's voice today;" from restoring our sexual sanity" to "what are the spiritual gifts?"

Who should come and why:

Christians: First let us say that we are not seeking to grow through attracting Christians that are plugged in at other churches. It is our mission to bridge the growing gap between the Church and the unchurched culture of our time. However, we know that sometimes God leads people out of churches and into others for various reasons. This is a place where Christians can come and learn more about God and what it means to be a follower of Christ. We are attempting to strip all the religious garbage out of our way as we partner with God in the greatest adventure every conceived.

Non-Christians: Whether you are just wanting to learn more about God in an open and welcoming environment, or are just looking to connect with some friendly people, this is the place for you! If you come from a different background, if you are unsure about God, if you are just "stuck" in life and looking for some hope, again... this is the place for you!
