The Japanese Tea Ceremony is one of the most highly refined traditional arts of Japan, influencing not only Japanese landscape gardening, but also the arts and values of social manners observed by Japanese people. Chanoyu appreciates the beauty, simplicity and spiritual tranquility that form the essential principles of Zen. Join Sensei Myoshu Wren and students of Pittak’s Isshinryu Karate & Martial Arts Center to experience this unique demonstration in the Japanese Garden and sample Matcha (tea) and Okashi (sweets). |
