Welcome to Chapter 108's Legislative Information page. Here you will find our links to important sites and resources which maintain valuable information about veterans' affairs. Other valuable links, some duplicative of this page, are also found on our favorite links page.
We will try to include information about veterans legislation pending in the Ohio Legislature when we get the details.

Go to the House home page: http://www.senate.gov/ Click on the Committee Officers and you will get this address: http://www.senate.gov/committee/index.html Go down to the bottom of the page and click on Veterans Affairs Committee. Click on Members. When the list comes up, the names that are underlined have their own home pages. Just click on the Congressman's name and go to their home page. Most (if not all) have an e-mail link on their home page.It is recommended that you write up the text of your message in your word processor. Save it to the clipboard, then when you are doing a message to your congressman, you can paste the message and add things that are particular to that message. If you are writing to the entire committee, this can save you a lot of time.
Chances are good that your Congressman will not answer you via e-mail. You can at least get your thoughts and ideas to their office so they are aware of them.
There is also additional legislative information on the DAV National Site. We encourage you to become aware of local and national legislative issues.
